What We Do

Sparks of Hope is a non-profit organization which provides food, clothing, toys, and other necessities of life to women and children in battered women’s shelters in the Toronto area, as well as to other needy families referred by welfare social workers and church ministers.

About Us

Incorporated on December 20, 2005, Sparks of Hope Charitable Organization has since provided over 15,000 toys and household items to shelters and families in the GTA. As the name implies, the first goal of Sparks of Hope is simply to give hope to people who have so little and who perhaps despair of ever being able to make a change. The toys bring happiness to the children and happiness to their parents. The many items of clothing and household goods help the families to make a fresh start with the New Year.
